Festergut

Basically Festergut is a tank and spank boss. The fineness of this boss for a resto druid is the way you have to switch from raid healing to tank healing. Here is a graph I always wanted to make since the first day I did Festergut.

We have all the tools to succeed at healing this boss. When the tank pulls, you have 3-5 seconds to start throwing hot on the raid. In 10 man, covering the whole raid is quite easy so keep Rejuvenation on everyone. Keep your 3 hots on the tank and refresh Lifebloom instead of letting it fade. As the fight progress, start intensify the healing on tank by casting Nourish at a regular rate. You can stop using Rejuvenation on melee and use only Wild Growth.

Be careful to avoid the goo thrown by Putricide, and be ready to use Swiftmend on the target affected by the Vile Gas. You can't use Barkskin when disoriented but you can use it before so be quick when you see the Vile Gas casted on you (you can even cast a Rejuvenation on you if don't have one). Be ready for the tank switch usually before the third spore. Hot the tank before he taunts and be ready to Instant heal or Swiftmend.

After the third spore you just have to heal the tank and throw Rejuvenation on those affected by the vile gas. A good Nourish spamming while keeping all hots up on the tank is fairly sufficient.

When Festergut casts his Pungent Blight, remember to use Barkskin and start to hot the raid again.
